Ul-Zaorith is a rich second-world fantasy and the setting for the majority
of my writing. Steeped in magic, its history is vastly different from our own. Its fourteen unique sapient species have developed differing customs, capabilities, and cultures, which shape their mythologies, heroes, and daily lives. Millennia of history cannot be captured in any single book, so I've spent decades digging into maps, physiognomy, cuisine, fashion, trade, law, birth, marriage, death, and religions—all to better understand the world and tell its stories in a way welcoming to human readers.

The Western Continent is still often referred to as the "new world," where Gods and Demons shaped the development of five new races, and for several thousand years they developed independently of the East's influence.
The Eastern Continent is known as the Üaharte,
where the world's first nine societies originated. They still largely control world politics, but the rediscovery of the West has broadened their horizons, both philosophically and economically.
