The desert nation of Ter'ays holds the tenuous position between the heart of the Western Continent of Enverres, and the homeland of Demons, the Badlands. Made up of nomads, the Sultanate and tenacious cities and city-states, Ter'ays is a hot, barren, often unforgiving place only for those of the stoutest constitution and will to survive. Despite this, there is a rich economy for southern exotics like silks, spices, fortune tellers and artisan glass.

 

The people of Ter'ays are angular, tough and stubborn. They are, as a nation, among the most religious and superstitious. Their nation still is largely patriarchal, with the rights and freedoms of its women largely reliant upon the nature of the Sultan ruling. The Ter'ays are possessed of a unique Racial Ability formed of great gifts of the mind that enable them to overrule their own instincts to preserve their bodies, walk consciously through their dreams, even manipulate the thoughts of others.
