"You are loved, you who have a good soul.
When you need me, I will always be there for you."

~Isham, Goddess of the Muzina
Muzin was one of the initial five races to evolve in the world and were a founding member of the Üaharte Council. Their land is one of extremes: volatile with volcanic activity and fertile in quick-growing teshur forests that provide a wealth of spices. The nation is typically divided into two regions, the high elevations of the Highlands and the lower foothill crags of the Flatlands; the dialect, customs, and physical traits of the people vary between these regions, which occasionally results in skirmishes between the regions.

Muzina culture is driven by honour and earned respect, which forms the foundation of their barter economy. The more prestige one attains, the higher in the social ranks they rise, which can result in positions of governance, wealth, or power—but mismanagement or poor decisions can lose this social favour in a matter of moments. These high expectations make it difficult for outsiders to sustain themselves in Muzin; this lower rate of cultural exchange has further exacerbated the xenophobia that still exists the further you get from the borders. The Muzina racial Gift also brings a lot of stigma that may discourage foreigners from visiting, as the consumption of blood between bonded partners is widely misunderstood. While this Gift bestows unsurpassed strength, vitality, connection, and pleasure, it is highly addictive and has dangerous side effects, so it is strictly regulated and many never forge a Blood Bond at all.
