Story Overviews
Click any of the images above to read about any of my stories. Each of these tales is an in-depth world that I have been working on. Some are comic ideas, some are short-stories, others are game settings or graphic novels.
There are many more that I have never done anything with, but still hold a special place in my heart. For a little blurb on these lesser tales see below:
~ Brimstone Sun (techno-punk, adventure, intrigue) ~ video game/novelette A story about fantastical creatures in a cyberpunk setting. It followed a tangle of hackers, mercenaries and duellers in a grungy subcity world of intrigue, murder and espionage. Information is power, and there are those who will do anything to obtain it, and those who are looking for people to help them prevent that theft from happening.
~ Chromatic Zone (philosophical, war, drama, fantasy) ~ manga/illustrated short story A story about Heaven, Hell, the Garden of Eden and the Fallen Virtues. In this tale Heaven and Hell were two neighbouring nations who decided to collaborate on a Garden that could be an equal no-man's land between them where denizen of both countries could gather to share ideas, creativity and cooperatively work on projects. The Pandora Project saw this dream come to fruition. Deciding that the Garden required a force that was tied to neither Heaven nor Hell to be truly nuetral, the Pandora's Box project was developed to create seven guardians to embody the reasons the Garden was constructed. These golems would stand for the seven virtues of Prudence, Faith, Justice, Temperance, Fortitude, Charity and Hope. However, there was an accident during the final processes of giving them live and the doors out of Eden were sealed by the emergency systems. The Pillars of Virtue were twisted into Envy, Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Avarice and Sloth and were cast down to Earth along with the two surviving scientists on the project, Dr. Eve from Hell and Dr. Adam from Heaven. While the doors between the countries remained sealed, time progressed normally on earth below, but Heaven slowed to a crawl and Hell sped up, so while only 60 years passed in Heaven, some 2000 passed on Earth and some 6000 in Hell. The Pillar's only desire is to get back home, to the place they were built for and so to their purpose for answers and relief. But in order to do so they need to find the scions of Adam and Eve so that the lockdown systems can be undone and the Garden unsealed. Do they walk into paradise, or open the gates to war?
~ Chryosode (fantasy adventure) ~ rpg videogame Co-creating with my husband, I'm in charge of the script, the character and world design and the plot. He's rendering my creations into pixels and coding the entire thing. This is a fantasy adventure RPG following Sloan, a Prime Lancer of the Talesian Guard as he is sent out of the Realm of Light and to the four Gate Realms to fortify their seals and so maintain balance in the world. He is assigned his platoon for the task, but there is more than meets the eye to this quest, and enemies and allies to be made along the way.
~ Crucible (post-apocalyptic, macabre, survival) ~ illustrated short story A story of the mutated spawn of a toxic future, an urchin's tale of survival in the Outlands while the City prospers. Without reason the Deepbloods exclude the creatures in the Outlands, leaving them at the mercy of the horrid monsters of the Deeper and the Void beyond. And then one day a new creature appears in the slums of the Outlands and is taken in can a small band of misfits. When patrols are sent out from the City to find and reclaim him, it is up to these vagabonds to protect him and discover why his is so valuable. Could it be there is a cure for the sickness in the Void?
~ Drifting Sleeper Horizon (parallel worlds, adventure, drama) ~ mini series A story of a girl who lives in the dreamworld. She wakes from each adventure to find herself in a new one. The same individuals take form in each one, and yet she seems to be the only one to recognize them. But her knowledge of them is sometimes more a hinderance than a help as their roles keep changing in each new world, regardless of what memories she might have made with them in the last adventure. From private school, to anthropomorphic animals in the wilderness, to jungle tribes, to fantasy adventurers, to techno-grunge, to steampunk pirates, to martial arts champions, the same people turn up in new roles as she tries to survive long enough to make it to the next dreamscape. The question is, will she ever wake?
~ 3ninERASE (shoujo, magical-girl, action-adventure) ~ manga A classic magical-girl tale formula: three school friends are confronted by a vision begging them to save the future. They have been chosen as the Time Keys, three champions of Father Time himself, whose task it to right wrongs in the Timestream that keeps everything flowing smoothly. Father Time normally tends to this task himself, but he has been captured and held prisoner, and without him, the world will fall into chaos. At first their task seems easy enough, but as time passes without Father Time's release more and more villains and creatures from past and future are finding their way through the Time stream to where they don't belong. In need of more help, the Fates of Past, Present and Future make their way through the weakened walls of time to assist them, and together they break through to find Father Time in the clutches of Chaos herself.

Eden's Fish
Eden's Fish is my only non-fantasy short story to date. It is a love story of sorts, but more of a reminiscence of the best and worst moments of Eden's obsession with Ellis Fisher, a.k.a. Fish.
A series of poignant emotional snapshots, Eden's Fish shows you the facets of true love: bitter, tender, desparate and all-consuming. Love can be a roller coaster of good and bad, of concessions that you make to hold on to what you love about a person, about the sacrifices you make to stay with the ones you love, and the ultimate decision of whether it's worth it to stay or to cut and run.
NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AS AN EBOOK HERE: Smashwords
Be warned that it does contain scenes of sexuality.
